A stunning necklace featuring a "peanut wood" pendant with markings that resemble the brown and white markings of a Pinto pony. Unique brown boulder opal and river stone pair perfectly. Despite its name, peanut wood is actually stone that has replaced petrified wood over a very long period of time. It's found in Western Australia. The boulder opal is also from Australia and is a deep brown stone, marked with thin veins of bluish and green opal. Accented with rose gold filled beads. Rose gold filled clasp, ring and wire. 18¼".
